Heartland Crime Stoppers is a non-profit organization of citizens against crime. Information is received through anonymous Crime Stoppers tips that are received through a secure tip line or through a secure web connection. Each caller is assigned a code number for the purpose of insuring anonymity. We offer cash rewards of up to $1,000 to anyone furnishing anonymous information that leads to a felony arrest.
Today, there are some 1,200 Crime Stoppers programs in communities around the world that take tips to assist investigators in solving crimes, including homicides, sexual assaults, drug trafficking operations and robberies, just to name a few. Programs have also received information that have prevented school shootings and criminal acts by terrorist organizations.
